Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information WowHow Blogs ("the blog", "we") collects when you visit opengateofknowledge.blogspot.com, how it is used and the choices you have. By using the blog you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data. Information is collected in three ways:

  • Log data. Like most websites, the blog's hosting platform (Google Blogger) records standard server data such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages, pages visited and timestamps.
  • Contact form. If you write to us through the Contact page, we receive the name, email address and message you enter. We use them only to reply to you.
  • Comments. Comments are handled by Blogger and require a Google Account. Your public Google profile name is shown with your comment.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This blog uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Blogger platform cookies set by Google to run the site, remember preferences and provide security.
  • Google Analytics to understand which posts are read and how visitors find the blog. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
  • Google AdSense to show advertisements. See the section below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the blog may not work as intended without them.

Advertising: Google AdSense

This blog displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Third-party ad networks that may serve ads here have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message is shown before personalised ads are served, in line with the GDPR. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown on the site.

Affiliate links

Some posts contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies to attribute the sale. Affiliate links are used only for products we have tested or researched for the post.

Third-party links

Posts link to other websites, including official documentation, GitHub repositories and product pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Children's privacy

The blog is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, write to us and we will delete it.

Data retention and your rights

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and handle any follow-up. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to Google's own policies. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, use the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the blog, the law or Google's services change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the blog after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact page.
